UZUMZOR BECOMES THE MOST DEVELOPED NEIGHBORHOOD

In the Uzumzor neighborhood of Kokand city, the criteria of "Prosperous Home - Prosperous Street - Prosperous Neighborhood" were implemented, transforming it in a short period into one of the most developed and exemplary areas.
Today, regional governor Khayrullo Bozorov, along with other regional sector leaders, visited the neighborhood and participated in the opening ceremony of several new facilities.
Speaking at the opening of the newly constructed neighborhood building, the governor emphasized that the noble idea of "For the Dignity of the Human" is yielding tangible results, noting that every citizen can clearly feel the improvements in their daily lives and living conditions. He highlighted that the developmental projects carried out in the neighborhood are a practical expression of the ongoing reforms aimed at enhancing the welfare of the people and congratulated the residents on the new infrastructure.
During the President's visit to our region on July 11-12 this year, significant initiatives were undertaken to drive the social and economic development of Kokand city. Many issues in the neighborhoods have been addressed. The "Kokand Model" was created in education. The Council of Elders was established, focusing on instilling love and loyalty to the homeland in the hearts and minds of the younger generation, along with cultivating a deep appreciation for the peace and tranquility of today's life. In addition, 33 schools and kindergartens have been renovated.
Specifically, in the Uzumzor neighborhood, where 605 households, 912 families, and 3,058 residents live, extensive work has been carried out, and numerous issues have been resolved. Multi-story buildings have been repaired, and the supply of electricity and natural gas has been significantly improved. A new neighborhood center has been built for Uzumzor, providing all necessary amenities. Moreover, a medical clinic, service complexes, a library, and a community service company were established within the neighborhood.
During the event, these noble efforts were acknowledged, and the residents and elders of the neighborhood expressed their gratitude to the President.
The guests were given a closer look at the neighborhood building, a sewing workshop, and the operations of the service company.
The celebration was further enlivened by performances from artists, making the event even more festive.
