The Governor of Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, visited the Kuva district to review the implementation of directives aimed at the region’s socio-economic development.
During his visit to the Turk neighborhood, he observed the ongoing construction of a new residential area, where the development of two new five-story apartment buildings has commenced. The first floor of the 36-apartment building, constructed by “Sifat Qubbo Service” LLC, will include retail and service shops, as well as a neighborhood administrative office under a public-private partnership (PPP) model.
The governor inspected the construction work and issued directives to accelerate the project, improve landscaping, and increase green spaces in the area.
In the presence of the heads of relevant organizations, discussions were held regarding the establishment of a special industrial zone, the development of 1,600 hectares of hills for orchards and green belts, and enhancing tourism opportunities. Instructions were given to initiate the construction of an exemplary industrial zone in collaboration with Chinese investors, implement projects within the “Turk” small industrial zone, develop tourism projects, and plant trees along both sides of the road leading to the Karkidon reservoir.
Governor Bozorov also reviewed the renovation project for the Kuva Vocational School and provided further recommendations for its improvement.
