A new Tourism Street is being established on Buston Street in the Galaba neighborhood of the central part of Kuva District. Modern two-story retail stores are under construction, and a nearby park is being renovated to reflect contemporary standards. This street is set to become one of the most vibrant areas in Kuva, providing 24-hour service and amenities for residents.
The Governor of Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, visited the site to observe the ongoing work and emphasized the importance of high-quality construction and beautification efforts. He highlighted the need to focus on creating convenience for local residents and improving the overall appearance of the area.
During his visit, the governor also inspected the nearby recreational park, directing officials to expedite the project, initiate reconstruction efforts, and ensure that all necessary facilities for public use are put in place.
One of the most prominent landmarks in Kuva is the “Shahristan Qubosi” archaeological site. Plans are underway to establish an open-air museum here and conduct further archaeological research. Governor Bozorov met with professors and faculty members from Fergana State University to discuss future collaboration on these initiatives. He underscored the importance of providing all necessary support to facilitate research on this historically significant site, which serves as an important source for the study of the nation’s history.
