Governor of the Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, welcomed a delegation led by Ibrahim Shahintash, Chairman of Turkey’s TEK Enerji company.
The meeting focused on discussions regarding potential investments by Turkish entrepreneurs in new energy projects within the region.
Expressing his satisfaction with the prospects of collaboration, the governor highlighted the significant attention being paid to the adoption of alternative energy sources in Uzbekistan and emphasized the implementation of several large-scale projects in this area.
Ibrahim Shahintash provided an overview of his company’s 20 years of experience in the energy sector, during which more than 200 projects have been successfully completed. He noted that, alongside Turkey, the company has also launched numerous projects across Europe and the Balkans, and is currently working on its first project in Central Asia, specifically in Uzbekistan. The primary goal is to increase the number of high-quality, competitive, and environmentally-friendly projects that comply with international standards. He also expressed the company’s interest in developing solar panel installations and other projects in Fergana.
During the meeting, the Turkish delegation presented their achievements in Turkey and discussed possible areas of cooperation.
Governor Bozorov assured the Turkish investors of his readiness to support their projects, noting that the installation of solar panels, from individual households to large enterprises, is already yielding positive results in the region. He further emphasized that cooperation would be welcomed if quality products are offered at competitive prices.
The guests agreed to explore ongoing projects and sites in the region, and provide their proposals based on their observations.
TEK Enerji is one of Turkey’s leading companies specializing in the supply, maintenance, design, and engineering services of electrical systems.
