Fergana's dried and packaged fresh fruits are gradually making their way into the global market, thanks to the significant role played by entrepreneurial projects. The Governor of Fergana, Khayrullo Bozorov, recently visited several businesses in Besharik district that are actively engaged in this sector.
At the "Besh Agro Export" LLC in the Buston neighborhood, a new project for processing dried fruits has recently been launched, creating 30 new jobs. The dried fruits are being packaged and exported to foreign markets. According to the entrepreneur, Jahongir Nosirov, the company is working with over 200 households in the local community, delivering fruits for sorting and cleaning, thus helping families earn an income. The company specializes in drying mulberries, with exports being sent to CIS countries as well as Italy and Poland. To date, nearly $1 million worth of packaged products have been exported.
The Governor praised the operations at the facility and provided recommendations to further expand the business and increase export volumes.
Additionally, the Governor visited the fruit drying factory established by "Rapqon DRY Fruits Export" LLC in the Yangikorgon neighborhood. The factory exports its products to Russia and employs 150 workers, with more than 200 community members hired as home-based workers.
