The Erkin Vakhidov School of Creativity in the city of Margilan is being recognized as a hub of talent in our country. Currently, 235 students are enrolled, with all necessary conditions provided for their education.
The Governor of Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, along with regional sector leaders, visited this school to review its activities and educational environment.
Established in 2018 under the initiative of our President, the school specializes in in-depth instruction in native language and literature, as well as foreign languages. Over the years, this educational institution has achieved numerous successes. According to the results published by the Agency for Assessing Knowledge, the 2023 graduates of the Erkin Vakhidov School of Creativity ranked second in the country with an average score of 159.7 points. This year, based on overall results, the school ranked first nationwide for its average score. This success is undoubtedly a testament to the hard work of the teachers at this institution.
The students actively participate in various national competitions and have consistently achieved excellent results. To ensure that students spend their time productively and meaningfully after class, the school offers modern extracurricular clubs, including visual and digital arts, computer graphics, audiovisual production, web design, radio and television journalism, and acting.
Governor Bozorov observed the activities of these clubs and engaged in conversations with the students. During the visit, the students performed poems and songs by renowned poets and staged scenes portraying prominent figures of the Jadid movement.
In his meeting with the school’s staff and students, Khayrullo Bozorov highlighted that the creation of schools of creativity, an initiative launched by the President, has opened doors of great opportunity for talented youth. He commended the achievements of the Erkin Vakhidov School of Creativity and expressed hope that future poets and writers, worthy successors to our literary heritage, would emerge from its students. He wished the school community continued success.
