Fergana Region is set to implement a range of new investment projects in cooperation with entrepreneurs from Guangzhou, a major industrial, financial, and transport hub of China. The initiatives will focus on sectors such as trade, economy, energy, copper processing, leather and footwear, ceramics, and more.

These agreements were reached during a business meeting held in Guangzhou as part of the official visit of Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov to the People’s Republic of China.

During the negotiations, several strategic partnerships were outlined. These include the implementation of a high-quality porcelain production project in Rishton District with PITO Company, and a leather and footwear manufacturing initiative with AOPIYA Company. A significant agreement was also reached with the Guangzhou Chamber of Entrepreneurs to expand cooperation in copper processing and other industrial directions. Additionally, a major $30 million ceramic production plant is planned to be launched in Dangara District.

Governor Bozorov emphasized that Uzbekistan, and particularly Fergana, offers favorable conditions and robust infrastructure for foreign investors. He assured that all promising projects would be fully supported at the regional level.

At the conclusion of the meetings, the parties agreed to begin joint implementation of the outlined projects and deepen mutual cooperation.
