Construction has commenced on several large-scale initiatives in Fergana region, marking a significant step toward regional development and investment attraction.

In the Eco-city zone of Fergana city, ground has been broken for the construction of a state-of-the-art 13-storey IT park. At the official ceremony, attended by Fergana Governor Khayrullo Bozorov, local elders, and construction teams, it was noted that the park will feature a conference hall, training rooms, retail outlets, and restaurants. The facility will provide full infrastructure to support professionals in the field of software development and information technologies.

In addition, a small industrial zone dedicated to leather footwear production is being established in the Nurafshon neighborhood of Qushtepa district. Governor Bozorov emphasized the critical role of such zones in supporting entrepreneurship and creating favorable conditions for business development and job creation.

The project covers 9 hectares and includes 11 production facilities, a trade complex, and a logistics center. It is expected to provide employment for 4,000 to 5,000 residents. The construction officially began with a ceremonial foundation-laying and blessings from local elders.

Furthermore, in Margilan city, the previously abandoned aqua park site will undergo a major revitalization project through a public-private partnership. It will be transformed into a comprehensive recreational area for the local community. Plans also include the construction of a new school, kindergarten, and an IT park on the available land.

These ambitious projects signal a new phase of industrial and technological development in Fergana, contributing to urban modernization and enhanced living standards.
