Fergana Youth to Receive Vocational Training and Employment Opportunities in Germany As part of the working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, a delegation led by the Governor of Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, visited the Erfurt Vocational Training and Retraining Center “Erfurt Bildungszentrum” (EBZ), located in the city of Erfurt. EBZ is one of the most prestigious educational institutions in Thuringia, offering training in over 60 areas including engineering, industry, information technology, and commerce. The center collaborates with more than 750 companies and SMEs, supplying them with qualified personnel. Between 500 to 1000 young people receive training at the center daily. With its extensive experience in dual education, EBZ enables students to study for 3 to 5 years, earning a diploma that grants them employment opportunities across European countries. The center is also actively involved in numerous international cooperation projects. The regional delegation first toured the facilities of the training center. During the meeting between Governor Bozorov and EBZ leadership, agreements were reached to train youth at the KOICA vocational training center in Fergana and prepare them for employment in the German labor market. Following the proposals discussed, the parties agreed to initiate joint cooperation.
