Fergana and Omsk Regions to Implement Joint Projects in Cooperation

The 5th International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia” is currently taking place in Tashkent. Representatives of the Fergana region are actively participating in the event and achieving productive agreements. This exhibition serves as an important platform for strengthening trade and industrial cooperation among the countries of the region. It facilitates the resolution of critical issues, the dissemination of new industrial technologies, and the establishment of partnerships among enterprises. Within the framework of the exhibition, today the Governor of Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with the Governor of the Omsk region of the Russian Federation, Vitaly Khotsenko. During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding practical cooperation, the outcomes of the Fergana region delegation’s working visit to the Omsk region earlier this April, and the progress made in implementing the agreements reached during that visit. They also reviewed topics related to the “INNOPROM. Central Asia” exhibition. Additionally, discussions were held regarding the supply of agricultural products, textiles, and construction materials from Fergana to the Omsk region. Both sides reaffirmed their intention to broaden interregional cooperation and agreed to implement several joint projects. As a result of the meeting, a “Roadmap” for 2025–2027 was signed, outlining comprehensive measures to further expand cooperation between the Fergana and Omsk regions.
