New Building of the Fergana District Department of Internal Affairs Commissioned The Presidential Decree of January 3, 2025, titled “On Measures to Create a Safe Environment in the Mahallas of the Republic in 2025 and Further Improve the Efficiency of the System for the Early Prevention of Offenses,” has marked a new stage in the ongoing reforms of the internal affairs system in our country. In recent years, great attention has been paid to strengthening the material and technical base of internal affairs bodies, including the capital renovation of outdated buildings and the construction of new facilities and structures. As a practical result of these efforts, a new building for the Fergana District Department of Internal Affairs has been constructed and officially inaugurated. The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Bekmurod Abdullayev, Head of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs Azizbek Ikramov, as well as veterans of the service and representatives of the public. Speakers at the event emphasized that thanks to the attention and care of the President, a total of 31.8 billion Uzbek soums was allocated from the national and regional budgets in 2025 alone to strengthen the material and technical infrastructure of the Fergana Regional Department of Internal Affairs and its district branches. These funds were allocated in a targeted and systematic manner. It was noted that this modern and impressive building was constructed using those funds and is expected to serve as a strong base from which officers will serve the people and the Motherland with loyalty for many years, achieving significant results in the prevention of crimes and offenses. Gratitude was expressed to all the construction workers who showed dedication and professionalism in building this modern facility. On the same day, the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs ceremoniously handed over one Damas and two Niva service vehicles to the department’s personnel. The administrative building, constructed by “Zamon Qurilish” LLC in the “Sanoat” neighborhood of Fergana District, consists of two floors and includes a security checkpoint, citizen reception room, 77 service offices, an enlightenment hall, parking lot, garage, storage facility, and a drill yard. Alongside construction efforts, ornamental and fruit tree saplings and various flowers were planted on the premises, contributing to a clean and green environment.
