Fergana Delegation Holds Meetings at Leading Financial Institutions in Frankfurt Frankfurt am Main is one of Germany’s major financial hubs, home to the European Central Bank, the Deutsche Bundesbank, and numerous leading international banks. As part of an official visit to Germany, a delegation from Fergana Region led by Governor Khayrullo Bozorov held meetings with major financial institutions including ODDO BHF, the German Development Bank (KfW), Helaba, and AKA Bank. During the meetings, the sides discussed attracting German investment to Fergana, issuing bank loans to local enterprises, implementing joint projects in cooperation with the regional administration, and organizing business forums. It was noted that many German financial institutions are actively participating in the implementation of projects across multiple sectors in Uzbekistan. In the dialogue with the leadership of ODDO BHF, the focus was on financing a tourism project in the village of Shohimardon developed by the French company MND (Montagne et Neige Développement). Negotiations with KfW Bank centered on the financing of large-scale projects in the region. At the conclusion of the meetings, it was agreed that joint action plans would be developed based on the proposals discussed.
