Shakhimardan to Become a Modern Tourist Center The Governor of Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, received a delegation headed by Liang Liankui, General Director of the Chinese company "Daqin Cableway." During the meeting, projects planned for implementation in the tourism sector of the region were discussed. During a previous video conference with representatives of this company, several proposals were made. Now, this process is moving to the practical stage, and a large-scale tourism project is planned to be implemented in the village of Shakhimardan, Fergana district, in cooperation with Chinese investors. The Governor emphasized the unique tourism potential of Shakhimardan and highlighted the importance of developing modern infrastructure such as cable cars, extreme attractions, rope parks, suspension bridges, restaurants, star-rated hotels, and a mountain ski resort. He expressed readiness to support the project and stressed the need to accelerate the work. During the meeting, proposals were made to improve the project, expand the range of services, and create opportunities for year-round recreation. The parties agreed on joint measures for the project's implementation.
