Construction of the "New Uzbekistan" Residential Complex and the Burhaniddin Margiloniy Scientific and Educational Tourism Center Progresses in Margilan Currently, extensive construction efforts are underway in Margilan city, where the “New Uzbekistan” residential complex and the Burhaniddin Margiloniy Scientific and Educational Tourism Center are actively being developed. The large-scale project includes multi-story residential buildings and essential social infrastructure. The tourism complex will feature an artificial lake with a musical fountain, a Maqom Theater, the Burhaniddin Margiloniy Research Center, a museum, the symbolic Otabek and Kumush House, a handicraft center, retail and service areas, hotels, and other amenities. Comprehensive infrastructure work is also ongoing, including the installation of electricity, drinking water supply, natural gas pipelines, road networks, and internal streets. Today, Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov visited the construction sites to inspect ongoing works and provided clear directives for accelerating the pace of construction. He issued instructions to contractors and relevant agency heads to organize the workflow systematically and ensure high-quality delivery of each project. Specific officials were assigned responsibility for the implementation of each component. Within the “New Uzbekistan” complex, construction has begun on 15 residential buildings with 12, 14, and 16 floors. The complex will also include a modern school, a kindergarten, and other public facilities. Governor Bozorov emphasized the importance of building the residential units in accordance with contemporary architectural standards, creating convenient living conditions for residents, and increasing the share of green spaces throughout the complex. Going forward, the daily progress of all construction projects will be discussed and monitored at on-site coordination headquarters.
