Construction of a Tractor Manufacturing Plant under the “TULPOR” Brand Launched in Fergana Construction has commenced on a new agricultural machinery plant by “FERGHANA TULPOR MACHINERY” LLC, located within the branch of the “Kokand” Free Economic Zone in Pakana Mahalla, Kuvasoy City. The launch ceremony was attended by Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov, Regional Prosecutor Bakhtiyor Ismoilov, Chief of Police Azizbek Ikramov, city officials, entrepreneurs, and Chinese investors. In his speech, Governor Bozorov noted that negotiations had taken place with the company’s leadership during a recent visit to China, with detailed plans agreed upon, and today marks the beginning of implementing these major goals. He emphasized the rapidly developing relations between Uzbekistan and China, driven by the close and friendly ties between the two countries’ leaders. The growing number of Chinese investors reflects the favorable conditions created for foreign business. China is now one of Uzbekistan’s leading trade partners, with bilateral trade volume exceeding $13 billion in 2024. The project, launched on a 7-hectare area, is valued at 30 million USD in the first phase. In the following phases, it will be further expanded and will reach 300 million USD within three years. The brand has been named “TULPOR” and will produce uniquely designed agricultural machines — ranging from compact garden tractors to powerful models with up to 400 horsepower. These tractors are expected to be competitive not only in Uzbekistan, but also in the Central Asian, CIS, and neighboring markets. Chinese investors expressed gratitude for the support and opportunities provided. The project is expected to create 250 new jobs. At the end of the event, the foundation stone was laid, and construction officially began. Attendees also viewed the first prototypes of the tractors to be manufactured at the facility.
