Major Investment Projects Launched in Fergana Region Today, construction work began on several investment projects in the Kuvasoy area of the “Kokand” Free Economic Zone. The event was attended by Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov, entrepreneurs, community elders, and foreign partners. The company Arborvitae Pharmaceuticals LLC has commenced the implementation of a pharmaceutical production project. Entrepreneur Dilmurodjon Akhmedov has initiated the construction of a $10 million facility. The enterprise is scheduled to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of this year and will create 400 new jobs. Additionally, with the participation of Turkish investors, NF TEXTIL KIMYA LLC has launched a project focused on processing chemicals and dyes. This $10 million investment will establish a modern manufacturing facility equipped with advanced technologies, providing permanent employment for 100 individuals. Furthermore, Omina Malika LLC has started work on a project to manufacture packaging containers, package fruits and vegetables, and install industrial refrigeration systems. This $15 million project is being implemented in cooperation with Hamkorbank, entrepreneur Nosirjon Qoraboev, and Chinese investors. The new modern facility will provide 40 permanent jobs. Governor Bozorov reviewed the project presentations and extended best wishes for the successful start of construction. Prayers and well-wishes were offered during the ceremony with the participation of respected community elders.
