Metal Panel Radiators Now Produced Domestically

A new production facility for metal panel radiators has been officially launched in the “Qo‘qon” Free Economic Zone, located in Uchko‘prik district. The project has been implemented by Thermo Tech LLC and was inaugurated with a grand opening ceremony. The event was attended by Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov, Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev, heads of regional departments and organizations, respected elders, and members of the public. The $30 million project was carried out by entrepreneur Ziyoviddin Yunusov, with $5 million invested from his personal funds and $25 million attracted in foreign investments. The factory has a production capacity of 900,000 panel radiators per year and is equipped with advanced machinery imported from Italy and Turkey. It is projected that the enterprise will produce products worth 600 billion UZS annually and create 300 new jobs. In his remarks, Governor Khayrullo Bozorov emphasized that the “Qo‘qon” Free Economic Zone, initiated by the President, is providing extensive opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors. He noted that numerous large-scale projects are being realized in this zone and that this particular initiative plays an important role in strengthening the regional economy, substituting imports with domestic products, and creating new employment opportunities. “Many investment projects are being launched in Uchko‘prik district. I believe the positive outcomes of national reforms can be seen through the example of a single district,” said the governor, wishing the entrepreneur continued success in his endeavors. Following the symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests toured the facility and familiarized themselves with the production process. The company has already produced its initial batch of trial products, which are now being offered to both domestic and international markets.
