Construction Accelerates in the “New Uzbekistan” Residential Complex in Margilan City.
Today, the Governor of Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, visited the site of the “New Uzbekistan” residential complex in Margilan, where he held discussions with officials from relevant regional organizations, construction contractors, and entrepreneurs to assess the progress of ongoing construction and review key project developments.
The ambitious project spans 75 hectares of land, where work has begun on the construction of 6,000 residential units. Currently, 10 residential buildings, consisting of 12 and 16 floors, are under construction. In addition, the development plan includes the establishment of commercial complexes and 10 social infrastructure facilities to serve the area’s growing population.
Reviewing the master plan of the complex, the regional governor stressed the importance of ensuring that every structure meets modern architectural standards. He emphasized that the primary focus should be on creating comfortable living conditions for residents by incorporating green spaces, scenic parks, and tree-lined alleys. Special attention will also be given to the quality of construction and the development of engineering-communication networks, which will serve as critical benchmarks for the project’s success. Proposals were made to further refine and enhance the ongoing designs.
As part of the development strategy, the governor highlighted the creation of a small industrial zone within the complex. Tasks were assigned to attract promising projects and ensure the efficient utilization of available land. Plans include establishing multi-level production facilities to support the industrial growth of the region.
This large-scale initiative marks a significant step forward in urban development for Margilan, providing modern housing, infrastructure, and economic opportunities while promoting sustainable and aesthetically appealing urban environments.
